The bill (Reg. No. 2489a) suggests a new version of article 54 of the Law "On the Status and Social Protection of Citizens-Victims of Chornobyl Disaster" by stipulating that starting from July 1, 2014, unexceptionally, the amount of pensions for disabled in the result of Chornobyl disaster shall not be lower than: 8 minimum subsistence levels for persons who lost their ability to work, under group II disability; 6 minimum subsistence levels for persons who lost their ability to work, under group III disability; and for disabled children – 3 minimum subsistence levels for persons who lost their ability to work.
